What We Do
Carebear Playhouse provides creative, non-clinical behavioral health support for youth ages 12–18 navigating stress, trauma, and life challenges.
We use film, acting, storytelling, and hip-hop culture as tools for expression, connection, and growth. Our programs are designed to give young people a safe space to be themselves, build confidence, and develop real-life skills.
Through hands-on creative experiences and peer support, youth learn how to process emotions, communicate effectively, and see new possibilities for their future—without relying on medication alone.

Is Carebear Playhouse Right for My Child?
We combine structured programming with a culturally relevant environment rooted in creativity, mentorship, and what we call radical love—meeting each young person where they are and supporting their growth without judgment.
Our programs are designed to support youth alongside their existing care. We do not replace clinical or medical services when they are needed, but we offer an additional pathway for growth through creative engagement.

Carebear Playhouse
Care Bear Playhouse, LLC is a youth enrichment programming organization. It is not a licensed childcare facility and does not provide custodial childcare services as defined under North Carolina General Statutes Chapter 110.
All programs offered by Care Bear Playhouse, LLC are structured, session-based instructional activities. Parents and legal guardians retain full legal custody and responsibility for enrolled minors at all times. Staff members are program facilitators and instructors, not licensed childcare providers.
