How Enrollment Works

1. Submit an Enrollment Request
Start by filling out our quick interest form so we can learn more about your child’s needs.

2. Intake & Assessment
Our team will schedule a conversation to understand your child’s goals, challenges, and whether our program is the right fit.
We may discuss: mental health needs (anxiety, depression, trauma), school situation, family goals, and what level of support is needed.

3. Acceptance & Program Start
If the program is a good fit, we’ll guide you through scheduling, Medicaid verification (if applicable), paperwork, and start date.
Your child can then begin attending our Monday–Friday program.

Payment & Coverage

Carebear Playhouse does not directly bill Medicaid.

For families who qualify, we collaborate with licensed clinical partners and providers who may accept NC Medicaid for eligible behavioral health services.

Our team helps support coordination, referrals, and access to appropriate care.

In addition to clinical support pathways, Carebear Playhouse offers enrichment programming, creative arts experiences, and extended support services.

• Clinical services → provided through partner providers (may be Medicaid-covered)

• Carebear programming → enrichment, creative arts, and structured support services (self-pay or subscription-based where applicable)

For enrichment programs or non-covered services, pricing options will be shared during the enrollment process or listed on our program pages.
